for the past two weeks we have been using sketch up.sketch up is a 3D architectural  program that allows you to make a realistic houses, pools, rooms, ect. this allows you to make your own house or room and see what you want to change it to. for example if you want to change the color of your room you can recreate it in sketch up and see for yourself what color you want. or if you want to change your furniture around.

tips and tricks about the tools

1.push and pull tool. 

this allows you to raise objects or lower objects. to use this click your mouse once and raise or lower

2.zoom tool

the zoom tool allows you to zoom in and out of objects. to make life easier you dont need to click on the button instead you can use the scroll wheel.

3. rotation and moving tool 

these tools allow you to move around the screen . to use the rotation tool you can click in the scroll wheel to use the moving tool click in the scroll wheel again and this time also press shift

tips and tricks

1. select a 3d object with the select tool, then use the move tool and click on the lower corner to move it. this allows the object to move around and not fall into the ground.
2.you can use the 3d warehouse to download materials like furniture or toys in to your scene instead of building everything
3. while moving an object press  CTRL to copy the object and place the original object back to its place

GJ - Day 5 - Opinion

today the teacher told us to do something "Try something Bold - aggressive - strategic or perturbed yet cardinal." so i took his advice and tried something different. the first thing that popped into my mind was to have more power and more food. to this i made the power sources and cafeteria the biggest they could be. then i took his advice for being more aggressive... and made everything really big. this was the first time i tried this. i lived for a while but died regardless.  i died because i spent all the resources on buildings. the base ran out of food and they all died from starvation.

 

my opinion 

my opinion of this game is that it is enjoyable. let me start off on what i like about the game. i like the feeling of the game. the game has this fun atmosphere at the beginning and it turns into a more angry atmosphere. i also like the look of the buildings and how they get built. my favorite thing about the game is that you have to pay attention to the resources . you cant just lay back and just let the game do everything.now what i dont like about the game i dont like how you dont really have a goal to accomplish. this means that after awhile this game will get boring. i also feel that this game can get repetitive. over all i think that this game is good.

8/10 would play again
